After watching last night's NFL opener featuring Bretty Favre and the Vikings against Drew Brees and the Saints, I just have one thing to say:

Brett Favre, hang it up.

Okay, a few more things to say: The thing that scares me about Brett Favre is that, even if he takes a nosedive in production this season (let's face it, his excellent regular-season performance last year will be tough to follow), there will still likely be some QB-desperate teams seeking to sign him next year.

Can you believe that? It's week 1 of the NFL for 2010 and I'm already growing weary of the annual "Brett Favre Retirement Watch" taking place next year in 2011.

When will Brett Favre retire for good? Any thoughts?

Pet Peeves

What are your pet peeves? I will probably ask this again when I have more readers, but seriously, a few things have been particularly bugging me lately, as my recent top pet peeves and seemingly most annoying things in the world:

• Drivers who fail to use turn signals
• People who talk on their cell phone while supposedly doing something else (they now cannot)
• Comments on YouTube videos and sports articles (seriously, people still bother with arguing online? why?!)
• Academia snobs

And I am, unfortunately, sure to gain more pet peeves in the future, as humanity continues to bother me.
